Know Me Cards

You can use this activity in many ways:

• For example, students can find out if they know they classmates as much as they think; In pairs, one student takes a card and answers the question about themselves and then the other student will have to guess what he or she has answered.

• The teacher asks 4 or 5 questions to all the students (this option is better for 8-10 students per class) and they write their own answers on a paper. Then, the teacher collects all the answers and asks the questions again, students have to guess what their classmates answered. They will get surprised by some answers.

Students must reason their answers so the others know all the details of their decisions.

For example, if the question was: ‘If the end of the world came, I would prefer…’. Their answers would be like: ‘If the end of the world came, Ana would prefer a zombie apocalypse because she is addicted to watching Walking Dead’
